Adding more Barbie dolls
12:52 AM PST, 8/21/2007
Last week was a busy week for shipping out all the Pullip and Namu dolls. I want my customers to get them as soon as possible, so whenever I saw the payment was made, I printed the shipping labels and packaged each doll and drove right to the post office. Today I am starting to see positive feedback from them. That is really good news! I feel so happy about this.
Right now I am having a week of vacation, and I have planned to sell more Barbie dolls. I threw away a dozen of them just today because I don't want to waste time cleaning or fixing them. Before I bought these dolls for their clothing, but now I am selling them nude, so I must be careful not to disappoint my customers. Nude dolls just get nothing to hide with!
I am working slowly inspecting, photographing, and listing these Barbie dolls. I have 3 cases of nude Barbie dolls to sell, and I don't know when I would start with the boxed ones yet. Hopefully I can get them all listed by Christmas time. That is the peak season for online shopping -- according to my personal experience. :) -
Adding Fashion Fever dolls and Barbies with new bodies
11:03 PM PST, 8/13/2007
I am working slowly on the new listings as I am busy packaging the paid items. I am further hindered by hand sore from my golfing class yesterday. :p I know I need more exercise, but wait until I get all the selling Pullip dolls packed and gone. -
Added 5 DOTW Barbie dolls
2:32 AM PST, 8/11/2007
It's fun to take out these decade-old dolls and give them some new looks. I straightened the hair of 2 of them today, but I don't think I should do that to every doll coz some collectors might still want them as original as possible.
And tomorrow is the big day for a few of my first listings. I am not trying to make money here, but at least I hope I don't lose too much money on shipping for I charge only a nominal fee as I hope to attract more buyers with a lower shipping and starting price. Anyway, we will see. -
Added 7 Barbie dolls
9:16 PM PST, 8/10/2007
Finally, and I mean it with every syllable, I FINALLY put up my Barbie dolls for sale! I have been very lazy organizing my Barbie dolls in the past few years, and they pile up boxes after boxes on top of each other. I bought them mainly for their outfits, and now I am selling them nude and hopefully someone would give them a new home. It isn't really easy for me to remember which nude doll is which because I have 300 of them... Imagine naming and remembering all your children's name if you have 300 of them. :p It feels good to know them all again for I need to write up their descriptions in the auction. At least I didn't let my dolls go nameless even though I didn't give them any clothes to wear. -
Added 8 My Scene dolls
10:07 PM PST, 8/7/2007
It took me several days to prepare the My Scene listings and I'm glad they are finally done. When I post the listings to eBay, a strange thing happen: I saw my listings immediately in my eBay Store! We all know eBay takes at least some hours to update the server, so we never get our listings up immediately. Oh well, that was just a minute of luck I guess, as later on all those listings disappeared from my store. The total number of listings dropped. I wasn't dreaming, but still I need to wait.
And then I think to myself: do nude dolls have anything to do with the Mature Audience rules on eBay? Were these listings taken off because they need to be screened? I am obviously thinking too much, as we all NEED to know how our dolls look like in and out when we are buying from online auctions. So I guess everyone has to be tolerant with the dolls being too sexy on eBay. Have fun guys and girls! -
Added 2 Taeyang clothed dolls
9:32 PM PST, 8/4/2007
I love the Taeyang dolls a lot @_@, but they have to go or I might be burried alive in an earthquake one day! That may be a bit exaggerating, but last night when I was reaching out for some doll stuff on the shelves, I fell backwards but luckily was caught by some empty storage boxes behind me. On second thought, maybe I should loose some weight also. Haha... -
Added 3 Pullip nude dolls for OOAK
9:45 AM PST, 8/3/2007
These 3 dolls look quite cute when they are bald. ^^ I pulled out my buying record from the past, and these dolls, particularly Mitzi and Panda, had costed me a fortune @.@... If these 2 can't sell at or above the current listing prices, I may have to decorate them better and relist them at a higher price. It is not reasonable to lower the market price of these highly collectible dolls, and I believe my listing prices right now are the lowest they can get on eBay. Sometimes only the experts in the field glean all the goodies. Let the listings rolling! -
Added 2 Pullip dolls
9:03 PM PST, 8/2/2007
I have added 2 Pullips dolls today on eBay. It is so good to see I have watchers already for the 5 Namu dolls I started to sell yesterday. Regardless of the final results, I will put up with my best efforts to keep on listing!
It is really time-consuming to write up the description for each auction, as I want to let my buyers know as much as they may need to know. It is also my way of saying goodbye to all these dolls which have brought so much good memories to me. I remember how thrilled I always get when I buy dolls from others. Dolls are full of love. I wish I can share such joy with others too. Therefore, instead of selling them like cold, dead objects, I really want to make each selling doll special for anyone who wants to own "he" or "she" after me.

Usyagi's Store Grand Opening
1:18 AM PST, 8/1/2007
All right! I finally learned how to use Auctiva to list a few doll auctions on eBay starting tonight! I shall come home to check out if the scheduling system is doing fine. I am planning to post a few auctions everyday so that I can start reducing my "stock on hand": I haven't yet sold any of my doll collection since 2004! I just love them too much and they keep accumulating. On this great day, I must really thank my family for giving me enough space to store all these things in the past few years. Now I must try to get some sales going, but having my own online store is simply like a dream come true. Thank you Auctiva! I wonder why eBay has never offered something as good looking and easy to use as this before.
